What a great night for community connection!

Healthy Petaluma was glad to join The Big Social, Aqus Cafe inaugural mixer at its new Life on Art space in downtown Petaluma.

The evening brought a full house together for live jazz, food, art, conversation, and plenty of opportunities to connect. Healthy Petaluma CEO Ramona Faith also shared a few words about the importance of community and connection to our collective wellbeing.

Thank you to Aqus Community for bringing Petaluma together. We were happy to be part of it!

A special thank you to Petaluma Urban Chat for presenting “Follow the Clucking Money: City of Petaluma’s Finances” and helping us better understand how our city’s finances work.

Circle Up is all about bringing community partners together to learn, connect, share ideas, and strengthen the relationships that support health and wellbeing across southern Sonoma County.

As part of the celebration for Casa Grande High School becoming a Blue Zones Approved School, we were proud to upgrade their staff break room with new and improved furniture, as well as hosting a luncheon to celebrate!

We also held 20+ Purpose Workshops for their students, to help students of all backgrounds identify their gifts, talents and passions, ahead of activating a Youth Volunteer Fair where 800+ students were connected directly with local organizations seeking youth volunteers.

All of these examples were just some of the many fantastic efforts of the school to support health and well-being for the students and staff.

Brought to Petaluma by Healthy Petaluma District & Foundation, Blue Zones Project is helping our community make the healthy choice the easy choice.

Congratulations to the second summer cohort of the Petaluma Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program!

Students from Petaluma High School, Casa Grande High School, and San Antonio High School are spending their summer gaining hands-on clinical experience at Petaluma Valley Hospital and Hillcrest Post-Acute Skilled Nursing while preparing for the California state CNA exam and careers in healthcare.

The CNA program is part of Petaluma City Schools ' Career Technical Education (CTE) program, combining classroom learning with real-world workforce experience.

Students who complete the program and pass the state CNA exam are immediately eligible for employment in one of California's highest-demand healthcare professions.

Healthy Petaluma and Petaluma City Schools are proud to help build the future healthcare workforce.

¡Felicidades a la segunda generación del Programa de Verano para Asistentes de Enfermería Certificados (CNA) de Petaluma!

Estudiantes de Petaluma High School, Casa Grande High School y San Antonio High School están pasando el verano adquiriendo experiencia clínica práctica en Petaluma Valley Hospital y Hillcrest Post-Acute Skilled Nursing mientras se preparan para el examen estatal de CNA de California y para una carrera en el área de la salud.

El programa de CNA forma parte del programa de Educación Técnica Profesional (CTE) de Petaluma City Schools, que combina el aprendizaje en el salón de clases con experiencia práctica en el mundo laboral.
