An F-16N Viper assigned to the Navy Fighter Weapons School and an F-14A Tomcat assigned to the VF-213 Blacklions pictured in a climb near San Clemente, CA. The pilot of the F-16N is LCDR George "Elwood" Dom, later a Blue Angels flight leader. The pilot of the F-14A is CDR Greg "Mullett" Gerard, the squadron commanding officer, and his RIO LTJG Don "Coach" Hulten.
