The Peterborough Woman’s Club of New Hampshire is offering a $1000 scholarship in memory of Janet Achille. Any woman over the age of 21 residing in the ConVal School District who wants to obtain educational credentials or skills so that she may return to work, further her career, or pursue a career change may apply. Due date: June 1st! Please share with your network!

Join us for the 7th Annual Monadnock Hunger Walk on Saturday, May 4th!

We will meet at the Union Congregational Church at 8:30am. (Walk starts at 9am.)
There is a 3 1/2-mile route and a shorter route for more casual walkers. The route heads south on Concord Street, then up Pine Street to Cheney Avenue, north on Old Street Road and then down Sand Hill and back to Concord Street.

Don’t forget to bring a check donation to the food pantry/program of your choice!

Get out your finest Afternoon Tea Togs, fluff your fascination and spruce up your spring hat and come to the April Showers Tea! 🫖💐

It’s tea time at The Harrisville Inn and time to enjoy scones served with lemon curd or clotted cream, tea sandwiches, assorted fruit and sweets. Sip your Earl Grey or maybe Harrisville Blueberry, the Inn’s signature tea!

Shower the families in our community through a donation of a baby shower gift(s) on the Amazon registry. These gifts are shipped directly to The River Center’s Early Home Support Program which assists the families. If you cannot attend the Tea, please consider a donation to this great cause.

Join us as we celebrate Peterborough’s women who have shaped the community over the last 250 years! Explore the ways women have made their mark in town at a talk presented by Michelle Stahl, the Monadnock Center for History and Culture’s executive director. This illustrated talk includes a variety of women from the mill girls who worked in the early 19th century textile mills to the affluent and educated women who transformed Peterborough in the early 20th century.

Date: Tuesday, March 19th
Time: 6 – 8pm

Location: The Monadnock Center for History & Culture, Bass Hall, 19 Grove St., Peterborough

A Suggested donation of $10pp goes towards the 3 PWC Scholarships.

Light refreshments will be available!
