To round out our alphabet countdown for the week, the Kindergarten class celebrated "K" day. The classes constructed kites from paper bags, decorated them, and gave them a test flight! 😎🪁 Lots of smiles and fun today!

Today, during our all-school assembly, the whole school went outside for a brief Memorial Day service. After the service, students placed flags around the front of the school to honor and remember our fallen veterans. It was camping day in Mrs. Warner's Kindergarten class. The Kindergartners were joined by their book buddies from Mrs. Obuchowski's 3rd-grade class, where they enjoyed stories by flashlight and campfire, and of course some s'mores!🙂Perfect for this rainy Friday🔥⛺️

Monadnock Maverick's Line Dance Team members, Deb Page, Margaret Blackburn (former PES second-grade teacher), and Pam Durkin donated money for the entire Kindergarten to make shirts and taught us the dance for the Children's and the Arts Festival! Thank you all for your generosity! The shirts came out beautiful!🤩

Miss Beth's PreK class dressed up and participated in an all-school treasure hunt this morning. They visited spots like the library, the art room, the office, the nurse's office, and Mr. M's office searching for clues. As you can see, they found their treasure at the end! 🏴‍☠️⚓️🌈

It was World Art Day, and Mrs. Kirby's 3rd grade class studied Vincent van Gogh. They took a special look at his painting of sunflowers, then painted their own sunflowers to celebrate!
