250 years of the American Experiment—Through the Eyes of Three Local Artists! 🎨

Don't miss 1776 / 2026 at South Side Depot in Petersburg, Virginia. This special exhibition features the work of local artists Daniel Jones, Bobby Lynch, and Angela Orrell, whose pieces reflect their visions of America's story.

Want to meet the artists? Join us on June 12 from 5 pm to 8 pm at South Side. It's the perfect chance to hear about the inspiration behind each work.

Great feature on Blue Willow Tea Room! 🫖🍰

Tucked inside a century-old historic building in Petersburg, the Blue Willow Tea Room has been offering guests a full English tea experience since 2010.

Owner Sid Scott said he fashioned Blue Willow after a small tea room he often visited in England. His goal has remained the same over the years: to keep it comfortable, serve good tea and fresh food, and create an atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.

The Weekend Three | June 12–14, 2026 🎷 🎨

From murals and jazz to live music downtown, there’s something happening across Petersburg all weekend long.

Join the community on Friday for the Arts! for the dedication of Petersburg’s newest mural by artist Hamilton Glass, then head to Jazz in the Stacks at the Petersburg Public Library for a free evening of live music. Don't miss the new show at P**L - "Father/Son", and stop by the Petersburg Visitor Center for the continuation of the "1776 - 2026" art exhibit.

Throughout the weekend, enjoy the Halifax Music Festival, bringing live music, food, and entertainment to the Halifax Triangle and adding to a full weekend of arts, culture, and community in Petersburg!
