Petersburg Healthy Start Loving Steps The program hosts a Community Action Network (CAN). We work with women, ages 20 to 40, while they are pregnant and after they have their child.

k with infants and toddlers up to age 2. The infant mortality rate in Crater health district is higher than in most other parts of Virginia especially among African American women. Our goal is to reduce that rate and make sure more babies are born healthy!
