ATTENTION: Do not rent a unit in someone else’s name. When you rent a unit, you click on a contract. That contract means you’re responsible for that unit, it’s contents, and the money due on it. We don’t run credit checks. There is zero reasons to put your unit in someone else’s name. Do not share a unit. If you put your possessions in someone else’s unit, and they won’t let you in-there is absolutely zero we can do about this. If you rent a unit & don’t acknowledge the contract then you are not protected, especially if you never pay. We consider it abandoned because we can’t reach anyone. Great way to lose all your stuff. We don’t want to discard peoples stuff. That doesn’t feel good to have to do this. But this is a business. We expect you to pay rent every month for your space or move out so someone else can rent it.
INSURE your contents. We’re not responsible for them. Renters insurance is cheap, cheap, cheap. We have had one significant break in since opening in 2016. Police typically don’t pursue storage unit break ins & even cameras don’t always show definitive identifying information.
Please be responsible so we don’t have to be terrible to you
Thank you, mgmt.
