Trading Card for the week is the Mr Dave card. Come in anytime to collect. Our first Sleuthing Academy was great and will be repeated tomorrow from 2:30-3:30. Story hour for the littles (really any size) is 10:30-11:30 and will will be introducing everyone to our summer library pet!!! Lots of learning and fun going on at Clues and Codes!! We love summer reading mystery theme!!! 📚 ✈️ 🌎 ✍️ ? ❤️

Mysterious plans are in place for our 2026 Summer Reading Program!!! Get your kids signed up to stay active and engaged in reading all summer long. Summer Reading Programing is open for ALL kids, library cards are required to check books out. Non-residents can pay $50/household for a 6-month summer library card; city residents pay their library fee in their city taxes. Remember, the library operates on just $107,000 in yearly tax monies!! $50 is close to the cost of one PAA sport, one family meal eaten out, etc. We do have options for low-income participants, reach out if you have questions😊Your support and participation help make our community better 🏆⭐️🎗️

We’ve been working together for over three years now on a digitization project for the Petersburg Public Library through calls, emails and texts. Last night we got to meet in person!!! Angela Gillmore Kim gave a talk about the digitized Petersburg Observers to the Menard County Historical Society. Two librarians getting things done!!
