The Mobile DMV is set up and ready at the library today!!! We have reservations through 11:30, but the facility is welcoming walk-ups during the afternoon hours. Come renew vehicle stickers, renew drivers license and state ID’s, update to a real ID, or just come to ask questions you may have!!

Tonight starts our Nights & Weekends Summer Reading Program for kids. We will have staff providing a compilation of our weekly summer program activities for busy working parents who want to experience the library with their child 😊 Come visit the library for programming tonight from 6:30-7:30 pm or Saturday 10:30-11:30 am.

Trading Card for the week is the Mr Dave card. Come in anytime to collect. Our first Sleuthing Academy was great and will be repeated tomorrow from 2:30-3:30. Story hour for the littles (really any size) is 10:30-11:30 and will will be introducing everyone to our summer library pet!!! Lots of learning and fun going on at Clues and Codes!! We love summer reading mystery theme!!! 📚 ✈️ 🌎 ✍️ ? ❤️

We’ve been working together for over three years now on a digitization project for the Petersburg Public Library through calls, emails and texts. Last night we got to meet in person!!! Angela Gillmore Kim gave a talk about the digitized Petersburg Observers to the Menard County Historical Society. Two librarians getting things done!!
