National Devil Dog Day honors a nickname forged in World War I and carried with pride ever since. “Devil Dogs” represent the courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment of Marines—past and present.
Today, we celebrate that legacy with a nod to tradition (and maybe a Devil Dog or two).
To all Marines and their families—thank you for earning the title. Ooh-rah.

Wear Your RED this Friday — Remember Everyone Deployed.

As we go about our daily lives in the comfort of home, let us pause and remember the brave men and women of our Armed Forces, especially our Marines, who are currently deployed overseas in service to our nation. Far from their families, loved ones, and the freedoms they defend, they stand watch in uncertain places so that we may live in peace and security.

Wearing RED on Friday is more than a tradition — it is a visible act of honor, solidarity, and remembrance. It is a way to show our deployed service members that they are not forgotten, that their sacrifices are seen, and that their courage is deeply appreciated by the people back home.

Our Marines continue to answer the call with strength, discipline, and unwavering commitment. They carry the burden of duty with honor, often under difficult and dangerous conditions. They need our support, our encouragement, and most importantly, our prayers.

So this Friday, Wear Your RED and stand in proud support of those who are standing in harm’s way for all of us. Pray for their protection, for their strength, for their mission, and for their safe return home.

Remember Everyone Deployed. Honor their service. Support their sacrifice. Never forget their commitment.

Semper Fidelis.
