It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of one of our own. He was a valued member of Peterson Fire Department, Peterson CRU EMS, and also served our community through city maintenance.

He gave his time, his strength, and his heart to helping others. Whether responding to emergencies, serving alongside his fellow firefighters and EMTs, or working to keep our city running, his service and dedication will not be forgotten.

We ask that everyone remember him for the good he brought to our department, our city, and the lives he touched.

Please keep his family, friends, coworkers, and fellow responders in your prayers during this heartbreaking time. May we honor him with compassion, kindness, and by continuing to look out for one another.

Rest easy, brother. We’ll take it from here.

CRU trains for the worst-case scenarios not because you want them to happen, but because if they do, hesitation isn’t an option. The truth is, training isn’t just about skills—it’s about conditioning your reactions so that in chaos, you can still act with clarity and purpose. “Hope is not a plan—training is"

Lucas..... is a machine that manually gives CPR compressions at a consistent pace and unlike a human dosent get tired. What a wonderful piece of equipment to have and pray we never need.

Testing skills on glucose (blood sugar)

Blood pressure training. Easy to hear the heart beat in a quiet calm setting, but very dificult to hear with chaos and going down the road with road noise and patient treatment.
