Well even if the calendar says fall it's hot out there, remember to check on the elderly. Make sure they have water and way to stay cool.

Also we are only two weeks out from fire prevention week call our main station at the bear creek township offices, if you want us to come visit this year. We will be scheduling for fire prevention week on Monday.

Our brave firefighters along with the firefighters from eight depts are fighting a fire at the Manthei mill. Please avoid the area to allow them to haul the water and move fire trucks as needed.
