We've had a great response to our canned food drive. As donations come in, we place them in classroom buckets for pickup and sorting. Your donations will help many families in our community. Thank you. ❤️ 🐾

5th grade has been working on adding and subtracting decimals this week! Mrs. Kennebeck's class has been starting their mornings with 99 math. Students were working toward 80% accuracy because their highest previous score was 76%. They rocked this skill and solved 1,177 problems in 10 minutes with 96% accuracy as a class!

We love this math tool to review and improve on skills, and work on our math fluency!

Pevely Families, if you have a Veteran attending the district breakfast and assembly, you are welcome to sign-out from Pevely or take your child with you that day. We will have a sign-in sheet at STMS and HHS so their attendance is not affected by attending. Thank you for your service! ♥️🇺🇸

We'll be honoring veterans on November 10th. All area veterans and their spouses are invited. We'll share more information soon.

Fifth graders are making their own lunch at Joes Pizza of Herculaneum! Students love this hands-on field trip. The multi-step process starts with decorating their boxes, coming in the back in small groups, washing their hands, and being handed the dough to start decorating. There were no restrictions on ingredients, but most kiddos kept it simple. One young lady just added cheese to the sauce. Others picked one or two toppings, but they mostly neglected the vegetables. The creations were placed on the oven’s conveyor belt, then scooped up and loaded into the decorated boxes. The personal pizzas were taken back to school and kept warm until lunchtime. The school district is charged for the experience, but at a greatly discounted rate from retail prices.
