Thank you to everyone who came out to schnuks for the operation food search drive last Saturday! It was a huge success! We brought back over 1,550 pounds of food! Our shelves are full to help those who need it around Jefferson county!

Tomorrow 8/15/26 is the annual operation food search drive. We will be at the schnuks in Arnold from 10am-2pm on Vogel road collecting food. All donated food goes straight back to the rescue mission and is used to serve those in need who come through our doors around Jefferson county.

WE HAD A VERY GENEROUS COUPLE REACH OUT AND PURCHASE US A BRAND NEW COMMERCIAL REFRIGERATOR AFTER OURS WENT OUT.

God is so good, and we see His hand clearly in your wonderful gift of the commercial refrigerator. Please accept our deepest thanks for this incredible investment in our food pantry. Our back to school drive starts next Monday July 20. You must come into the office during regular business hours and sign up your children Between July 20 and August 7. We only have a certain amount of supplies signing up is highly encouraged so we know how
Many to expect.

School supplies will be handed out the week of August 17.

We are currently in urgent need of the following shelf-stable foods and personal care items:

we do have a big tote by the gate that says donations if anyone comes over the weekend or when we are closed in the evening’s donations can be dropped in there as well.

High-Priority Food Items:
Canned proteins: Tuna, salmon, chicken, and beans, canned string beans, caned peas, caned fruit.

Hearty meals: Canned soups, stews, and chili

Pantry staples: Rice, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, and jelly

Breakfast items: Oatmeal, cereal, and pancake mix

Hygiene & Personal Care Items:Daily essentials: Soap, body wash, shampoo, and deodorant

dental health: Toothpaste, toothbrushes, and floss

Household care: Laundry detergent and dish soap

Family care: Diapers, baby wipes, and menstrual products

This Memorial Day, we honor the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation, and we express our deepest gratitude to all service members who protect our communities. We want to help everyone In Jefferson county. Our property is monitored by cameras 24/7 and we work closely with local law enforcement to ensure safety. Unfortunately, last night (4/19/2026) we experienced a break-in and theft, and thanks to the swift action of the Pevely police department, the individual responsible has been arrested and charged with burglary breaking and entering and theft.

If you wait until morning when we open, we are happy to provide food and clothing at no cost. We're here to support you.😁
