Spring Hydrant Flushing Schedule

The Water Utility will conduct system-wide hydrant flushing on weekdays from April 20 through May 29, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. This essential maintenance helps ensure hydrants remain fully operational for fire protection and supports high water quality throughout the system.

During flushing, residents may notice temporary water discoloration. Although the water remains safe to drink, it may appear rusty or cloudy due to harmless minerals, such as iron, being stirred up in the pipes. If this occurs, run your cold water tap until it clears. To help prevent possible fabric staining, please avoid doing laundry during flushing hours. If you need information about whether flushing is occurring in your area, please contact the Utility Office at (262) 691-0804.
