Congratulations to National Student of the Month, Jacob Bourland from Vista Ridge High School in Colorado! ✨

His nominator wrote: "He represents the rare intersection of academic rigor, athletic discipline, and an unparalleled gift for community building. His influence on our school culture this year has been nothing short of transformative, moving the needle on student engagement through his roles in Student Council, athletics, and the performing arts. The most visible evidence of Jacob’s impact is found at our quarterly pep rallies. Since taking the microphone, he has effectively revitalized these events, leading to a 150% increase in student engagement and morale. He possesses a natural charisma that captivates the entire student body, turning routine assemblies into high-energy celebrations of our school identity. Jacob leads by example across diverse platforms. In Student Council, he serves as a strategic voice for the student body, helping plan and execute initiatives that improve our daily campus life. As a leader on the football team, he demonstrated the grit and teamwork necessary to inspire his peers during the high-pressure fall season. After celebrating the school year and closing it out with our students and families, POWER Zone teachers and leaders spent two days in planning, preparation, and professional development to ensure a strong start to the 2026-27 school year. We are grateful for our dedicated, outstanding educators, and we wish everyone a wonderful summer!

After closing out the year with students and teachers, POWER Zone leaders spent a meaningful day together reflecting on the 2025-26 school year and planning for the next school year. The day was spent engaged on the topics of student data and instruction, school culture, and leadership performance. There was great thinking, combined with lots of fun, encouragement, and affirmation across the day! This is an incredible group of dedicated leaders giving their all to the POWER Zone community!

Today we celebrate two very special milestones — our Kindergarten and 5th Grade Continuation students! 🎓✨

To our Kindergarten students: you came in as little learners and are leaving with big dreams, growing minds, and bright smiles. We are so proud of all you have accomplished this year!

To our 5th graders: congratulations on completing an important chapter of your elementary journey. Your hard work, leadership, and growth have prepared you for the exciting adventures ahead in middle school.

Thank you to our amazing teachers, staff, and families for supporting and encouraging our students every step of the way.

We are so proud of each and every one of you. Keep shining, keep learning, and keep believing in yourselves!

This year, we celebrate and honor the incredible staff members who are retiring from the Zone. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment have made a lasting impact on our students, families, staff, and community.

We are so grateful for the years they have given in service and for the relationships, memories, and difference they have made along the way. While we will miss them greatly, we are so happy for them as they begin this exciting new chapter.

Please join us in congratulating our retirees and thanking them for all they have done. We wish them happiness, relaxation, and many wonderful adventures ahead.

Skyview Middle School 8th graders shone brightly at the annual 8th Grade Award Night, a ceremony that honored the outstanding achievements of these exceptional students. The evening was filled with pride and smiles as students, staff, and families came together to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of this class!

A big thank you is extended to parents for your support, which has been instrumental in empowering your children's educational journeys, and to our amazing staff for their tireless dedication to growing our students.

Odyssey Elementary School students absolutely shined during the Leader in me Day and the Lighthouse Review! Reviewers couldn’t stop talking about the positive culture, student leadership, and strong emotional bank accounts they saw all throughout the building. They shared that it was the strongest culture of affirmations they had ever seen! From Happy Hour celebrations to students confidently leading and connecting with others, the joy and sense of belonging were impossible to miss. The way students truly live ‘Leader in Me’ made such a lasting impression on everyone who visited.
