Standing at the podium before an arena-sized audience of graduates and their loved ones VRHS Valedictorian, Ella Paddock, issued her classmates a final challenge:

“Never stop looking for the right tools. Never let confusion convince you that you are incapable. True intelligence isn't having all the answers, but knowing where to find them,” Ella said. “We are stepping into a world that will challenge us constantly. But after these last four years, I know this class can not only handle it but thrive in it.”

The class of more than 300 students stepped into robes and caps Saturday, May 23, for their graduation ceremony at the Broadmoor World Arena. Prior to handing out diplomas Tom Payne, VRHS principal, beamed with pride over the class of 2026.

“I think I speak for all here at Vista that it is extraordinarily difficult to say goodbye and good luck to such an amazing group of young adults, but here we are. I'm honored to be your principal and count myself immeasurably lucky that our paths have crossed,” Mr. Payne said. “I love you guys and wish you nothing but the best. You always have a home at Vista. I look forward to hearing stories in the future of how each of you have changed our world for the better.”

Congratulations VRHS Class of 2026. You Are VR!

Sand Creek High School’s class of 2026 walked, skipped, and danced across the stage to receive their diplomas on Saturday, May 23, at the Broadmoor World Arena.

Family and friends of more than 300 high school seniors packed the World Arena to cheer on their graduates.

Keira Teeples, elected student speaker, said, “Are we going to allow these years of our lives to be solely summed up by our diplomas, caps and gowns? If so, we sorely missed the point.” She continued, “It is not just the diploma that is important, but the people we have become in the process of obtaining it.”

Congratulations and good luck to the Sand Creek class of 2026!

“Sometimes we don’t realize how important a moment is until it becomes a memory,” reflected student speaker Noah Favreau.

Falcon Zone Superintendent Brian Smith celebrated the graduates and their future ahead, stating, “You are ready to soar. I could not be more proud of you. Take risks. Stay curious. Laugh often. Use those wings in your new adventures.”
