Last night, we opened our doors for this year’s Meet the Teacher night—or as we affectionately call it, "Whose Child Is Mine to Love." This night gives us a wonderful opportunity to visually demonstrate our commitment to our community.
To show our collective pride and alignment with the district's core values, all Brookhollow Elementary staff wore our "Pflugerville Pfriendly" shirts for the event. This uniform look is a powerful symbol of our campus and district unity, proving that we stand together as one cohesive team, fully dedicated to supporting every student who walks through our doors. By wearing these shirts, we strive to embody the district's vision for creating a lasting legacy—one built on meaningful relationships, mutual respect, and an unwavering belief in the potential of our students.
During the event, our staff can bring the PfISD vision to life and build our legacy through these five core pillars:
Purpose: Welcoming families with intentionality, making it clear that our shared mission is the success and well-being of every single child.
Adaptability: Meeting the diverse needs of our families with flexibility, open minds, and a supportive attitude as we kick off a new year.
Character: Leading by example through integrity, kindness, and authentic "Pfriendly" hospitality in every interaction.
Stewardship: Nurturing the trust our community places in us by treating their children with the highest level of care, respect, and responsibility.
Action: Actively engaging with parents and students during the event to build the immediate, strong foundations needed for a successful school year.
Thank you for your dedication to our students and for launching this school year with such a strong, united message.
