Counselors Rock! 🎸💙 Welcome back, PSJA ISD Counselors! What a great way to kick off the new school year at today’s PSJA Counselor Academy!

This year’s theme, “Counselors Rock: Leading, Supporting, and Empowering Every Student,” set the tone for a day focused on SEL data, CCMR, CTE, Grief & Loss, AI digital practices & tools, and new ways to support student success.

A special thank you to Dr. Elias and Dr. Marquez for welcoming our counselors and recognizing the incredible work they do for our students, staff, and families. Here’s to an amazing school year! Let’s Rock! 🤘🎸

A proud and historic moment for our entire PSJA Family. PSJA ISD has earned an “A “ rating in the 2026 Texas Accountability Ratings, with all 44 schools earning an A or B and 27 schools, more than 61% of our campuses, earning an A.

Behind every rating are students who worked hard, educators who believed in them, staff who supported them, families who trusted us, and an entire PSJA Family committed to creating opportunities for every child.

This achievement belongs to all of you!
