The Pharr Aquatic Center consists of a fan shaped, 6,800 square foot leisure pool, which enters from a zero depth beach area that wades into 3’ 1/2”. On the shallow end, stands a water playstructure that features three children’s slides, geysers, water sprayers, misters, spray fans, two giant splash buckets, and ornamental palm tree sprayers. The pool has a 150’ body slide next to a 150’ tube slid

e that splash into the deep end of the pool. Available to the public is a lazy river that consists of a 200’ raft slide that spills into a 360’ linear foot, 8’ wide meandering river. Children and adults slide down in water tubes that float along the river, or line up to slide down again. Other park amenities include a children’s pool that is 30’0” in diameter, and it features geysers and a baby slide. For the children’s safety, this pool is covered with a shade structure to provide cover from the sun’s rays. Also, the center features a Natatorium that encloses a 25 yard X 25 meter, 10 lane competition pool. 🌧️ Aquatic Center Closure Notice 🌧️

For the safety of our guests and staff, all Pharr Aquatic facilities will be closed on June 15 & 16, 2026 due to inclement weather.

We plan to resume regular operating hours on Wednesday, June 17. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for more summer fun soon! ☀️💦

Dive into summer with Swim Lessons at the Pharr Aquatic Center! 💦

Sessions start today and run throughout June and July, with classes for all skill levels — from Parent & Child to Level 2 and Adult Improvement.

Classes are held Monday–Thursday at 9 AM, 10 AM, and 7 PM.

🚨UPDATE: Session 1 is already full! Online registration for each upcoming session opens the Thursday before the session begins and closes once all spots are filled. 🌊✨
