The Pharr Police Department is joining TxDOT's DWI campaign ahead of the Fourth of July holiday.

From June 19 through July 6, our officers will be conducting enhanced coordinated patrols to help keep Pharr families safe on the road. This statewide effort comes as impaired driving continues to claim lives across Texas every year.

Celebrating this Fourth of July? Plan ahead:

*Designate a sober driver
*Use a rideshare or taxi
*Never let a friend drive impaired

The Pharr Police Department invites local veterans and their families to enjoy a special day at Veterans Aqua Reset on Saturday, June 27, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Veterans Memorial Park Aquatic Center (1000 S. Fir St., Pharr, TX 78577).

🎟️ Each veteran will receive admission for themselves plus up to 5 guests.
📋 Military/Veteran ID is required to receive tickets.
⚠️ Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Pharr Police Department (1900 S. Cage Blvd.).

Enjoy a morning of fun, relaxation, and community while connecting with fellow veterans and local veteran resource organizations.

Join us for Listen to the Land on June 11, 2026, for an evening of mindful walking, yoga, wellness, and community at the Pharr/Vanguard Academy Nature & Birding Center.

This special event is a collaboration between the Pharr Public Health Department, Pharr Police Department, and Behavioral Health Solutions to promote mental wellness and healthy living in our community.
