Our 1st Six Weeks Beanstack Reading Challenge is underway! 💙💚 From August 24 through October 2, we’re encouraging our Javelinas to make reading part of their everyday routine.

📖 Our goal: Read at least 20 minutes every day!
⏰ 1st Six Weeks Goal: 600 minutes

Every book, every page, and every minute adds up! 🌟 Be sure to log your reading minutes in Beanstack so your hard work counts toward our Power Readers goals. 🏆

It’s time to read, read, READ! 💙💚 The PSJA Power Readers 2026–2027 District Recognition gives our students another exciting reason to pick up a book and let those reading minutes soar! 📖🚀

🏆 The Top 3 students in each grade level with the most minutes logged will receive a trophy at the End-of-Year Campus Awards Ceremony!

And our whole campus has something to work toward, too! Each six weeks, schools will have the opportunity to earn Power Readers Campus Banners for outstanding reading participation and improvement. 🌟

Looking for a fun way to get your child active, build teamwork, and make new friends? Pharr Parks & Recreation is now registering for Girls Volleyball and Flag Football! ⭐
