Our families have two unique ways to connect and grow together. Through Coffee with the Principal, parents can receive campus updates, ask questions, and collaborate with school leaders. During Crafts with the Counselor, families engage in relaxing, hands-on activities while learning practical strategies and building connections with other parents.

Different experiences, one shared goal: supporting students and strengthening families!

School Closure

Attention IDEA Owassa Team & Family, student and staff safety is our top priority. We are continuing to closely monitor weather conditions across the RGV Regions this evening as the storm approaches.

Our campus will be closed tomorrow 06/16/26 and will re-open and operate on a normal schedule on Wednesday 06/17/26.

We will continue to monitor weather conditions and update staff and families as needed. We encourage you to continue to check IDEA social media pages and REMIND for more information and updates regarding inclement weather.
