US Conference of Chaplains U.S. Conference of Chaplains is made up of Chaplains and Chaplain Assistants (Clergy and Laity) forming Ministry Teams in their local communities.

The US Conference of Chaplains is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt 501c3 organization. The foundation and groundwork of The Conference is both ordained and laity as member Chaplains and Chaplain Assistants forming local ministry teams in their communities. In the USCoC the word Chaplain is a verb. Membership is open to men and women over the age of 18. Chaplains must present proof of satisfac

tory Christian ordination in a nationally recognized church or denomination. A Governing Board of Directors is responsible for overall policy, mission and objectives. Each Director has a specific area of duty but, day to day operations are overseen by the National Chief Chaplain. Membership numbers in geographical areas drive regional assignments. Many training resources are available through the U.S. Conference of Chaplains and our ministry partners.
