Phelan Pinon Hills Community Services District Serving Phelan and Piñon Hills with water, parks, recreation, solid waste and street lighting.

PPHCSD is an independent Special District providing water, parks and recreation, street lighting, and solid waste to the unincorporated communities of Phelan and Pinon Hills. While the facilities date prior to 1965, the County of San Bernardino Special Districts operated CSA 70 Zone L, CSA 9, and CSA 56 up until July 1, 2008, when PPHCSD assumed those responsibilities.

Join us every Friday for FREE Judo classes at the Phelan Community Center!

Led by a USJA-certified 2nd-degree black belt, students will develop coordination, strength, self-confidence, and valuable life skills in a safe, supportive environment.

Ready for the next step in your water operations career? Phelan Piñon Hills Community Services District is hiring a Water System Operator III.

💧 $41.65–$54.16 per hour
💧 Full-time position with CalPERS retirement and comprehensive benefits
💧 Every other Friday off

Qualified applicants must possess D3 and T2 certifications, a California Class A CDL, and at least five years of increasingly responsible water operations experience. Heavy equipment and advanced SCADA experience are also required.

Applications close September 4, 2026. Interviews are scheduled for September 16.
