**SAVE THE DATE** The last rabies clinic for the year is coming up later this month.
**THIS SATURDAY!**
Special notice from the office of the NYS Executive Chamber.
The Town of Phelps uses a program called Hyper-Reach that allows us to contact the residents of the Town en masse with important information and upcoming special events to better serve our community. It is our hope that this new system will help to restore some of the communication that we lost with the closing of the Merchandiser in Clifton Springs.
If you would like to register for the program to ensure you receive these informational calls, please go to this link: http://hyper-reach.com/nyphelpssignup.html
Additionally you can call (or text ‘alert’) to the following number to register also: 315-325-8868
You do not need to do both.
If you have any questions regarding this new system, please call the Town Hall at 315-548-5691. Thank you.
Massive thank you to our incredible friends at Hemdale Farms & Greenhouses for sharing this sign on our high traffic corner hill!
As you’ve likely seen, farms all across the area are heavily into corn harvest meaning a big increase in trucks, tractors and equipment for the next month or more.
Friendly reminder that we often are pulling in and out of field “driveways” that you can’t see but we know are there. So please be extra cautious to look for our blinkers and don’t automatically assume it’s safe to pass us as we may actually be making a turn. Likewise, our equipment doesn’t slow down as quickly as your vehicle so be careful not to pull out directly in front of us
At the end of the day we all need to share the road and get home safely. 🌽🚜
Tickets are available for purchase the day of event, in front of Chamber of Commerce, 2 East Main Street between 4:30 PM and 7:15 PM. Tickets are $15, cash only, and includes samples from all the pour vendors.
PHELPS — The Gypsum Cemetery Association has announced that fall clean-up at Gypsum/Riverview Cemetery begins Oct. 15 with all spring and summer items being removed.
We encourage all residents to take this survey. If you know of someone who does not have internet access, paper copies of the survey are available at the Phelps Town Hall, 79 Main Street, Phelps, NY during regular business hours.

Traffic lights were raised and there was a brief delay for motorists on Main Street Phelps today as a 200,000 pound condenser for a nuclear submarine traveled through the village. The condenser was manufactured in Batavia, NY and is on its way to Albany and then down the Hudson River to New York Harbor in New York City. From there it will be moved by an ocean-going barge to its final destination: the Naval Submarine Base in Connecticut. They told us they have gone only 9 miles so far today and will stay in the area overnight.
