Earlier this month, Off. C. Bridges and Off. A. Butz successfully completed training to become Spike Strip Instructors.

This certification allows them to train officers in the proper deployment and use of spike strips, as well as provide recertification training. Maintaining qualified instructors within our department helps ensure our officers are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively utilize this important tool.

Congratulations to Off. Bridges and Off. Butz on this accomplishment and their continued commitment to professional development and officer safety!

🍩 National Donut Day 🍩

It's National Donut Day, and yes... we've heard all the jokes.

Whether you're glazed, chocolate, powdered, or jelly-filled, today is the one day a year we don't mind the stereotype.

If you see one of our officers today, wish them a Happy National Donut Day (and maybe ask their favorite flavor).

Stay safe, Phenix City!

Officer C. Carpenter had a great time at the Summer Reading Kick-Off Scavenger Hunt at the Phenix City - Russell County Library!

Thank you to the library staff for the invitation and for hosting such a fun event for our community.

Officer Carpenter enjoyed reading with the children and helping them search for clues during the dinosaur-themed scavenger hunt.
We love opportunities to connect with our community and encourage a love of reading among our young citizens!
