🎨🌿 Summer Art Camp: Art and Nature 🌿🎨

Calling all young artists ages 4–13! Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of creativity, learning, and environmental exploration.

Hosted by Phenix City Housing Authority and 4-H Club, this Environmental Education Art Camp will feature hands-on art activities inspired by nature. Children will create, explore, and learn about the environment through engaging art projects and outdoor-themed activities.

Calling all past 4-H Poultry Project members…

Did you love the poultry project but just don’t have room for more chickens???
Would you love the opportunity to continue the program with the flock you already have???
Well... here is the project for you!!!

This club (open to ages 9-18 who have completed at least 1 year of poultry project) will run from August to October 2026 with in person and virtual meetings each week in August to increase your knowledge of the poultry industry.

Registration for the club will be open in 4-H Online (http://v2.4honline.com)starting June 1 and closing June 30, 2026. Cost of the club is $10. Call 334-298-6845 or email [email protected] for more details.

Registration for the upcoming alligator season opens on Tuesday (June 2nd). Remember - we made some opportunity improvements last season:

• We expanded the Southwest, West Central, and Lake Eufaula Alligator Management Areas (AMA).

• We modified hunting dates and hours for all AMAs (except Southeast AMA).

• Made changes to the alligator size and bag limits, including a new 🐊🐊 bonus management harvest permit 🐊🐊 for all AMAs (except Lake Eufaula AMA).

• Non-residents may apply for a Non-resident Alligator Harvest Permit.

We are excited to announce the 2026 4-H BIGGEST Catch Contest, taking place virtually from June 5 to 15! Youth ages 9 to 18 are invited to participate—no 4-H experience required.
We need your help spreading the word. Please share this opportunity with your schools, clubs, social media pages, and other networks to help us reach as many youth as possible.
