Meet Brent Comer:

Brent Comer is a conservative leader running for Alabama State Senate in District 28. Raised on a farm in the Glennville community near Pittsview, Brent learned the values of hard work, responsibility, faith, and service at an early age—values that continue to guide his life and leadership.
A graduate of Clemson University with a degree in agriculture and business, Brent has spent the past 20 years working in the oil, gas, and energy industries as a professional landman. His career has given him experience in contract negotiation, land management, and responsible resource development.
Brent is also a small business owner who understands firsthand the challenges facing local employers. He co-owns C & S Bagging in Eufaula and East Alabama Vending, where he works every day to meet payroll, manage costs, and keep jobs local.
Deeply invested in his community, Brent serves as treasurer of the Pittsview Civic Society, sits on the board of the Pittsview Volunteer Fire Department, and is vice chairman of the Russell County Republican Executive Committee. He, his wife, Dr. Whitney Comer, and his son William are members of Pittsview Methodist Church.

Chris Blackshear is running for re-election I’m excited to announce that I’ll be seeking re-election to continue serving Alabama House District 80 this November!

There will be a race ahead, as I do have opposition but I’m ready for the work. I truly enjoy serving this community and look forward to continuing to work for all the people of District 80 for another four years.

For those who may not know me well, I’d love to share a little more about who I am, where I come from, and why District 80 means so much to me.

Brent Comer is running for Alabama State Senate District 28.

Raised in Russell County, Brent knows what makes our communities strong—hard work, faith, and looking out for your neighbor.

From his roots on the farm to building local businesses, Brent has spent his life working for the people of this district. Now, he’s ready to take that fight to Montgomery and be a strong conservative voice for District 28.

“I’m running because it’s time for a change—and I’m ready to stand up for common-sense values and the people who call this district home.”
