We are looking forward to starting our 2026-27 sporting events. We are excited to announce that all 7th-12th grade students at PCHS and 7th-9th grade students at EFJHS will be admitted FREE to ALL PCHS athletic events as long as they have their school issued pass that was give to them today!

Because we are allowing free admission, we expect students to be in the stands/bleachers supporting our teams. Students are not to be hanging out in or around the bathrooms or concession stands or around the field house.

All non-high school age students MUST be accompanied by and supervised by parents at all times. If they are not, they will be sent to their parents. Because of the new field house construction, students should stay away from the east end zone area unless they are going to the visitor side concession stand.

🎉 WHAT A GREAT FIRST DAY BACK! 🎉

We had an AMAZING first day at East Franklin Junior High! ❤️💙

Thank you for trusting us each day with what matters most—your children. We have loved seeing their smiles, hearing their laughter, and watching everyone settle back into the rhythm of a new school year. We are looking forward to an incredible year together! 🥰

As we head into our first full week beginning Monday, we have a few important reminders:

🚗 CAR RIDER LINE SAFETY

You will notice a new safety line painted in our car rider area. For the safety of our students, please remain to the left of this line while waiting in the car rider line.

Students will be required to remain behind the safety line until the vehicle has come to a complete stop.

You will also notice four colored circles behind the safety line. These are our designated student loading and unloading points. You may unload or load your child at any of these four spots.

🥤 NEW! WATER BOTTLE POLICY

The Franklin County Board of Education has adopted a policy that prohibits insulated tumblers such as Stanley, Yeti, and Hydro Flask for students.

To enhance student safety and allow for appropriate contraband checks, students must use clear, plastic, disposable water bottles.

This is a standard safety practice in many Alabama school districts. Thank you for helping us follow this new policy.

📱 FOCUS ACT REMINDER

Under the FOCUS Act adopted by the State of Alabama, students are strictly prohibited from having powered-on mobile phones or wireless communication devices on their person during the instructional day.

This includes:
• Cell phones
• Smart watches
• Earbuds
• Recording glasses
• Tablets
• Other wireless communication devices

We will continue following the same guidelines we implemented last year.
