Alright I’ve cried like 90000 times this week because I said goodbye to a 🌟 blessing of a class 🌟 and some epic colleagues who are retiring and I’m in community at school & at beehive & in the neighborhood with the most amazing humans. (Lucky to be in all of your orbits.)
But then I just saw post about our Covid babies graduating kindergarten and wow 😭 Yes, we did that. We labored in masks, we early-dayed without our beloved folks. We didn’t send our oldests back to school for like a million years and none of our plans worked out.
And now these gorgeous humans are parents of 1st graders. I’m in awe of mine. She’s so herself, she’s so free, she’s kind of me and kind of out of this world. She’s never met a flower she didn’t want to pick. And she’s heading to first grade.
I’m so lucky to get to watch so many kids grow and honestly so many parents grow, too. So shoutout today to all those Covid baby parents. On to the numbered grades!!!
