The Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office will participate in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign from August 17, 2026, through September 7, 2026.

This campaign focuses on removing impaired drivers from our roadways and, more importantly, encouraging everyone to make responsible choices and plan for a safe ride home.

If you plan to drink, don’t drive. Designate a sober driver, call for a ride, or make other arrangements to get home safely.

Let’s work together to keep our roads and our community safe.

Tomorrow marks the start of a new school year! 🍎✏️

As students, teachers, and parents begin another school year, we ask everyone to be extra mindful as you start your day.

School buses will be back on the roads, children will be walking to bus stops, crossing streets, and traveling to and from school. Please slow down, eliminate distractions, and be prepared to stop for school buses loading and unloading students.

A few extra moments of caution can make all the difference in keeping our children safe.

On behalf of the Neshoba County Sheriff's Office, we wish all of our students, teachers, school staff, and parents a safe, successful, and blessed school year!

As we celebrate the birth of our nation, we wish everyone a sate, happy, and blessed Fourth of July.
We hope you enjoy this special time with your family and friends while remembering the sacrifices that have preserved our freedom.

Have a wonderful and safe holiday! Please celebrate responsibly, watch out for one another, and as always, if you see something suspicious, don't hesitate to contact us.

As the clock strikes midnight tonight, the 137th Neshoba County Fair will officially come to a close.

The Neshoba County Sheriff's Office encourages everyone to hold the line and finish the Fair strong by making responsible, adult decisions as you leave the Fairgrounds. If you have been drinking, please designate a sober driver or make other arrangements to get home safely. Your decisions tonight can make the difference between everyone arriving home safely or a tragedy that impacts families for years to come.

Residents and visitors should expect an increased law enforcement presence throughout the area. Deputies from the Neshoba County Sheriff's Office, along with officers from the Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC), Commercial Transportation Enforcement Division (CTED), and the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP), will be conducting proactive patrols and monitoring traffic throughout the evening and overnight hours.

We are extremely proud that the 137th Neshoba County Fair has been remarkably safe. We applaud the cooperation of our fairgoers and are grateful that there have been no major incidents and no significant motor vehicle crashes attributed to Fair attendance. That is a testament to the responsible actions of the thousands of people who have attended this year's Fair.

Let's work together to finish the Fair the same way it has been enjoyed all week-safely, responsibly, and with respect for one another.

Have a safe trip home, and thank you for helping make the 137th Neshoba County Fair one of the safest and most enjoyable in recent memory.

🇺🇸 Happy Memorial Day from the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office 🇺🇸

In observance of Memorial Day, the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office will be closed today. While our office staff will be away for the holiday, our road deputies will continue working and patrolling throughout the county to keep our communities safe.

We also encourage everyone to attend the annual Memorial Day Program beginning at 11:00 AM inside the Ellis Theater as we honor and remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

We hope everyone has a safe and blessed Memorial Day.
