🚨🌧️ EVENT POSTPONED — FAMILY & COMMUNITY HOODIE AWARDS 🌧️🚨

After much consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Family & Community Hoodie Awards Celebration due to the weather.

We will now be celebrating NEXT SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3RD at 1:00 PM, at the same location — North Star Playground & Garden! 🎉

We truly hope you’ll still be able to join us! We know how much goes into preparing for an event like this, and we are so grateful for everyone who has been patient, flexible, and excited to celebrate with us. ❤️

📣 Please help us spread the word! Since we are rescheduling, we also want to make sure everyone in the community gets the update. And if you know a local business, small business owner, creative, or someone who would love to sell or share their products at the event, we’d love to have them! There’s still room for vendors.

As for the goats… 🐐🌧️ we’re just trying to keep the goats afloat and dry! 😂

Thank you again for your continued support and understanding. We’re looking forward to a beautiful day together next Saturday, October 3rd! 💚

Same time. Same place. Just a little less rain. 😉☀️

Now THIS is what loving on your neighbor looks like. 💚
This past Thursday, our Director of Sanitation brought neighbors together for a Common Gathering filled with connection, information, and community.
We were joined by Andrew Burgess, a City Steward, who shared valuable information with residents, along with a beautiful live performance that brought an extra special energy to the gathering. 🎶✨
Neighbors also learned more about the Alleyway Cleaning Program and the Voucher Program, which can help offset the cost of waste dumping.
So much great information was shared, but most importantly, it was a reminder that when we come together, share resources, and look out for one another, we strengthen our community.
Now THIS is loving on your neighbor.
Now THIS is loving on your community. 🫶🏾
