Imagine a place where hope & help lives.

A place where someone facing a difficult season can enjoy a hot meal, receive groceries, find clean clothing, take a shower, connect with housing and employment resources, attend life-skills classes, use a computer, and be treated with dignity and compassion—all under one roof.

That's the vision for The Give Center.

The Give Center will be more than just a building. It will be a place of hope, healing, opportunity, and community. It will serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, and other hardships while bringing people together to create lasting change.

A rise in cases of Cyclospora (Cyclosporiasis) has been reported in some areas. This intestinal illness is caused by a microscopic parasite that can be found in contaminated food or water, especially fresh fruits and vegetables that were washed or irrigated with unsafe water.

⚠️ Watch for these symptoms (usually 7–10 days after exposure):
💧 Watery diarrhea (sometimes severe)
🤢 Nausea and loss of appetite
😣 Stomach cramps and bloating
🥵 Extreme fatigue
⚖️ Weight loss
🌡️ Low-grade fever

🥗 Help protect yourself:
✔️ Wash fresh fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
✔️ Cook foods when possible, as heat kills the parasite.
✔️ Drink safe, clean water.
✔️ Stay hydrated if you become ill.

👨‍⚕️ If you experience these symptoms, especially after eating fresh produce, contact your healthcare provider. Cyclosporiasis can usually be treated with a prescription antibiotic.

⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE ⚠️

Due to the threat of thunderstorms, high winds, and dangerous air quality, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" themed serving at Love Park.

The safety of our volunteers, guests, and community is always our top priority. While we were looking forward to serving hot dogs 🌭, peanuts 🥜, popcorn 🍿, and Cracker Jack® ⚾, we believe postponing is the safest decision for everyone.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support of We Love To Give. 💚💛
