Community Engagement in Action! 🤝

The 35th District, along with our partners from the 14th District, joined the Office of Public Engagement and Neighborhood Affairs and the Neighborhood Community Action Centers (NCAC) for a community walk focused on connecting directly with residents and opening meaningful dialogue with the communities we serve.

These community walks bring together the Philadelphia Police Department, City departments, and community partners to engage with residents in some of Philadelphia’s most vulnerable neighborhoods.

By getting out into our neighborhoods, listening to residents, addressing concerns, and sharing available City resources, we continue working to strengthen community partnerships, build trust, and foster positive relationships between residents, police, and City agencies.
Thank you to everyone who participated and to the residents who took the time to speak with us. Working together makes our communities stronger! 💙

What an incredible evening celebrating in the 35th Police District!

Captain Burks and the 35th District Community Relations Team were proud to support two outstanding Neighborhood Night Out events at Belfield Recreation Center 2109 Chew Ave and the Oak Lane Firehouse 1201 Oak Lane.

Thank you to all of our residents, community partners, first responders, volunteers, and everyone who came out to make both events such a success. The turnout at both locations was fantastic.

Strong neighborhoods are built through partnerships, and tonight was a great reminder that together we make our community safer and stronger.
