Finally got time to finish this extraordinary, necessary, illuminating book. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It’s an indispensable resource for those wanting to better understand the long, excruciating history of Palestinian oppression at the hands of both the Israeli and US (and before them British) governments. I wish I’d read it years ago. Again, highly recommend. Thanks to the amazing Middle East expert and friend Debra Shushan for recommending.

Think Flock cameras increase safety and privacy? Think again.

In light of this The Wall Street Journal article John Fetterman needs to resign. He’s entitled to his beliefs—which I find abhorrent—but if he doesn’t want to do the job, refuses to meet with his constituents, won’t attend committee hearings, and simply wants to amplify Israeli propaganda he should leave. I’m sure AIPAC will hire him in a hot second.

What if going to church meant risking your family being torn apart? That’s the reality for Haitian families in Springfield, Ohio right now. Ice raids have intensified, neighbors are being detained and shackled, and last Sunday agents stood outside of at least two churches. This week, a beloved pastor was taken from his own community.

Whatever our politics, whatever our background, we have a responsibility to care for one another. Please share and make sure this story doesn’t disappear. Also? Call your senators and tell them to extend TPS for our Haitian friends and neighbors now.

Almost a million children have now lost access to nutritional assistance as a result of Trump’s and Republicans’ “One Big Beautiful Bill.” How? “Collateral damage” from the bill’s many cuts and paperwork requirements.

But that’s not all. Because when you think about it, kids are collateral damage in *all* of Republicans’ policies. But they don’t care as long as they and *their* kids are getting rich. Remember it in November.
