This Wednesday, 8/12!

Messy Baby Art, 11 AM. Bring clothes you don't mind getting messy and let your baby paint with us! We'll be creating a banner for the library wall and some art you can take home as well. For children 0-3.

Clay Play Read, 2 PM. Join The Clay Studio and learn how to make clay art. Children will get to listen to a story, and families will get to bring the book home. For children 3-8.

We are very excited to announce that we will be partnering with Spin Go Mobile Laundry, starting in September! They will have their self-service mobile laundry truck outside the library every Wednesday, all day, 10am-5pm, so that our unhoused neighbors have an opportunity to clean their clothes.

We are also accepting donations of laundry detergent to help with this endeavor! Single-use serving packets are preferred, whenever possible.

We're so pumped to be able to find new ways to support our community!

Is your kiddo working this hard to complete their Ultimate Quest Activity Map?

The deadline to turn them in is next Friday, August 14! We still have prizes galore, so don't stop now!

Raffles will be pulled the week after the Ultimate Quest ends, so there's even still time to sign up! Stop by the library anytime we're open--Ultimate Quest is for ALL AGES, so that definitely means you!

Books to Blocks: Kids, teens, and families can visit Rodriguez from 12-1:30 to make their favorite book characters out of Legos, guided by our summer teen workers! While you're here, get free lunch for kids 0-18.

Did you know? Rodriguez has TWO clay events this week!

Our first clay event is today, 7/28, at 2 PM! This event is for adults and teens.

Our second event is tomorrow, 7/29, at 2 PM. This event is for children ages 3-8! It will include a story time.

Both events are hosted by The Clay Studio.
