The City of Philippi is committed to being as aggressive as possible when it comes to securing grant funding for infrastructure projects. Like many communities across the country, we have aging infrastructure that needs to be repaired, replaced, and improved—and grant funding can help us accomplish these projects while keeping the burden on our utility customers as low as possible.
The City is currently working to apply for a Community Development Block Grant. In order to qualify, more than 50% of our sewer customers must fall below the applicable income limits. To determine whether we meet that requirement, we need our sewer customers to complete a simple income survey.
The survey takes one minute or less to complete. You will simply:
• Enter your account number
• Enter the number of people in your household
• Indicate whether your household income is above or below the specified threshold
That’s it!
We must receive a certain number of responses in order to qualify to apply for this grant. By taking just a minute to complete the survey, you can help the City pursue funding for needed infrastructure improvements and help us keep your utility costs as low as possible.
Please remember, this survey is only for customers who receive sewer service from the City of Philippi.
