save time, effort, and money. These types of support include: accounting, legal support, writing expertise, public relations, strategic planning, printing, budgeting, fundraising, and advertising. Also, we need the community's support to sustain our organization. Your donations keep our services available to you. We are always seeking in-kind support, such as materials, services, and equipment. If you would like to help us in any way, give us a call today. We are always here to serve you, and again, we are always ready to assist you in times of an emergency crisis. We are your partners in making our community a better place. The easiest way to join our department is to stop by our firehouse and ask for a membership application. Our members will be glad to answer any questions you may have or show you our equipment. Since our department is 100 percent volunteer, our firehouse may not be staffed at all times. The best time to stop at the firehouse would be about 7:00 pm on the second and fourth Mondays of every month. These are the dates for our fire company meetings. Feel free to drop by and introduce yourself.

As National EMS Week comes to an end, the Philipsburg Fire Department would like to recognize and extend our sincere appreciation to the dedicated crews of Moshannon Valley EMS and Mountain Top Fire Company EMS for the vital services they provide to our community each and every day. While we regularly work with Moshannon Valley EMS as the primary service agency for our first due, it’s not uncommon for us to work along side those from Mountain Top in Sandy Ridge when the ever so unpredictable call volume may bring them into the greater Philipsburg area to assist.

These EMS professionals answer the call at all hours, responding with compassion, professionalism, and commitment during some of life’s most critical moments. Their dedication to patient care and their partnership with emergency services such as our own make an incredible impact on the lives of those we serve.

We are grateful for your teamwork, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication. Thank you for everything you do, not only for our communities, but for us.

Happy National EMS Week! 🚑
