Have you seen our ongoing summer book sale in the courtyard? We are looking to make some improvements for next summer. Does anyone have an old horse trailer they would be willing to donate to the library? This is the concept. Please reach out if you have something and we will see if we can make it work. Thank you!

Friends of the Philipsburg Library Fall Social!

Join us on September 12 (rain date September 13) at 10:30 a.m. in the library courtyard for a combination work-and-social gathering. We’ll start by taking down the book sale tent, followed by a short, informative program about the Friends, what we do, and how you can get more involved.

Light food will be served.

Miners’ Union Day is also happening that day, so plan to enjoy both events and make it a fun day for everyone!

We hope to see you there!

The Imagination Library is just one of the amazing things that Dolly Parton did. I know the children in our community get excited when their books come in the mail. Thankfully this program will continue on in her legacy. Thank you, Dolly, for helping get kids excited to read. You will be missed.
