Price County AODA/Mental Health Coalition

Price County AODA/Mental Health Coalition Note: Name has changed to Price County Substance Use & Mental Health Coalition
Vision: Strong Families; Strong Communities

In 2011, Price County Public Health and Flambeau Hospital began working on a community needs assessment and identified that mental health and AODA were community needs. As a result of the assessment, the Price County AODA/Mental Health Coalition was formed, with representation from local professionals including health, law, school, and counseling. The coalition has since developed an annual proces

s of setting goals that align with the Community Heath Needs Assessment, which is now completed every three years under the direction of Price County Health and Human Services and Marshfield Clinic Health System. Supporting these goals are specific strategies for creating lasting change and improved outcomes around mental health and the reduced use of alcohol, medications, and other drugs. If you are interested in learning more or joining the coalition, please contact Amanda Kozak at Price County Public Health (715-339-3054) or email [email protected]. We are continuously looking for other individuals and agencies to join our efforts!
