Delaware Park Ladies Auxiliary Delaware Park Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary's main purpose is Finacial, Emotional, and Social Support of the Firefighters of the Delaware Park Fire Company.

The Delaware Park Ladies Auxiliary was officially founded in 1931. The Delaware Park Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary's main purpose is Finacial, Emotional, and Social Support of the Firefighters of the Delaware Park Fire Company. The Auxiliary meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month. New members are always welcome. Stop in and talk with the ladies about joining, they would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.

Reminder to come out tomorrow and beat the heat with Delaware Park Engine Company No. 1 at the field in Park Square from 5:30 PM–6:30 PM! Join us for a fun evening to cool off and enjoy the summer weather. Ice pops will be available for everyone, so don’t forget to bring your swimsuit and a towel. We hope to see everyone there!

I am pleased to honor Trent LaFord as an NJ07 First Responder Hometown Hero!

While attending high school, Trent simultaneously enrolled in and completed the Warren County Fire Academy, earning his Firefighter I and II certifications as well as his Hazardous Materials Operations certification. He accomplished all of this while balancing his schoolwork and preparing for his senior-year football season—demonstrating discipline, dedication, and maturity well beyond his years.

Trent will now attend Warren County Community College to pursue an associate degree in drone agriculture.

Service to the community has been deeply ingrained in Trent’s upbringing. His father, Louis LaFord Jr., is a Police Lieutenant with the Lopatcong Township Police Department, a former Fire Department Chief, a former EMT in Lopatcong, and a current per-diem Firefighter/EMT with the Quakertown Fire Department. His mother, Kelly LaFord, is a former Captain/EMT with Lopatcong Emergency Services.

Trent represents the next generation of first responders—motivated, community-oriented, and ready to step forward when needed. Thank you, Trent, for your service to the Lopatcong community!

Delaware Park Chemical Engine Company No. 1 will be holding our Wet Down Ceremony today, Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Park Square.

Please be advised that from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM:

• Park Avenue (North 1st Street to North 3rd Street)
• Park Square
• North 2nd Street (Aurora Street to North Prospect Street)

will be closed to traffic, and no traffic will be permitted into Park Square except for event participants.

“No Parking” signs and barricades are in place—please follow all posted restrictions.

All residents and neighbors are invited to come out, celebrate with us, and enjoy the day.
