New Jersey Youth Corps of Phillipsburg

New Jersey Youth Corps of Phillipsburg The New Jersey Youth Corps of Phillipsburg is Warren County's only full-time service and conservation corps.

Founded in May of 1998, we provide municipal support to the Town of Phillipsburg, and all of Warren County while providing hundreds of youth the opportunity to earn their GED while providing a valuable service to their community. Funded through the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development, the Youth Corps is a 'second-chance' program for young adults aged 16-25 that did not complete

high school. Through a balance of academics and Service Learning, we provide the foundation upon which to build a brighter future.

We couldn't do this work without you!

A pollinator garden is more than a collection of flowers. It is a carefully supported habitat where small but essential organisms can find food, shelter, and the conditions needed to grow. That same idea reflects the purpose of the Youth Corps experience. Like a healthy habitat, the program is desi

Last Friday, we participated in the Town of Phillipsburg Juneteenth celebrations! First, the dedication of a soon-to-be installed plaque recognizing an unknown black child buried at the site of the Phillipsburg Cemetery. Then we celebrated the former Eagle Hotel -(a well documented stop on the Underground Railroad, now housing ) - being recognized as a Town historical site - and then finally raised the Juneteenth Flag to commence the celebration at Shappell Park.

Trails tell a story about responsibility. When a trail is overgrown, washed out, blocked, or neglected, access is limited. When a trail is cared for, it becomes a shared community asset.
