Norwescap New Jersey Norwescap serves as a foundation of support to help individuals and families overcome economic hurdles so they can thrive.

Norwescap engages and works with individuals and families with low to moderate income in communities throughout northern New Jersey, offering services and creating strategies to help transform poverty into opportunity. We offer programs across six domains - Education; Employment; Financial Empowerment; Health & Nutrition; Housing & Community Development; and Volunteerism & Civic Engagement – and w

e take a comprehensive approach to serving our neighbors with low- to moderate income, weaving together our dozens of programs to meet basic needs while also helping people build resiliency and progress towards self-sufficiency. From Head Start centers to adult education scholarships; from our Food Bank distributing to 100+ pantries to family nutritional support through WIC; from financial literacy and tax preparation to matched savings for a family’s first home or car, every Norwescap program provides someone with the opportunity to move forward. Altogether, our work positively impacts the lives of over 30,000 individuals each year.

Stronger Together Against Hunger 💚

We’re proud to stand alongside fellow New Jersey food bank partners, farmers, and community leaders working to expand access to fresh, nutritious food across our state. Last week, Norwescap CEO Mark Valli joined representatives from New Jersey’s five Feeding America food banks and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Cooperative (MARC) at the farm to celebrate the power of collaboration and prepare for the upcoming harvest season.

Together with The Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Fulfill, Mercer Street Friends, Food Bank of South Jersey, and Mid-Atlantic Regional Cooperative, this partnership continues to help ensure more New Jersey-grown produce stays right here in New Jersey, reaching families and communities across all 21 counties.

Comcast’s partnership has expanded access to technology, training, and workforce development opportunities through Norwescap’s Career & Life Transitions Center and Community Development initiatives.
