In an interview in the Arizona Daily Star Daniel and Alma Hernandez defended SUPER PACs and the corportations backing their campaigns by saying, "We’ve built a lot of friendships and relationships with people who see us as being willing to do whatever it takes..." These Super PACs are not givng out free money, these are calculated investments in candidates they believe will do their bidding. For example the AZ Chamber of Commerce is supporting the Hernandez's, the self proclaimed allies of the Red For Ed Movement, but thiss is the same Chamber of Commerce that is taking the Red For Ed initiative to court to kick it off the ballot. Ballots are due today, if you haven't voted already make sure to VOTE OUT the Hernandez's up and down the ballot. Thats a no vote on Daniel Hernandez in LD2, a no vote on Alma Hernandez in LD3, and a no vote on Consuelo Hernandez for Board of Supervisor!

What is Consuelo Hernandez hiding 🤔? She wants to be your Board of Supervisor for Pima County... But since 2018, Consuelo has ran for 3 public offices: Sunnyside School Board (2018), Pima County Recorder (2020), and now Board of Supervisor (2020). In the span of 2 years she has failed to submit every Campaign Finance Report on time. She has yet to submit her campaign finance report that was due July 15th. This is just another example of her level of disrespect to voters and her constituents. Voters have a right to properly vet their candidates and a failure to report your finances in a timely manner damages the integrity of our Democratic process. If you can't even turn in your homework on time, what business do you have running for office!?

Let us add what you are about to see to the long list of questionable things both Alma Hernandez and Consuelo Hernandez have done... On July 19th the Daughter of Kubitskey4Sherifff accused her father of physical, sexual, and mental abuse. An immediate backlash ensued at the Daughter of Kubitskey, his supporters called her a liar, attacked her story, called her unspeakable names. But the vast majority however came to her aide and admired her courage to speak truth to power. Yesterday, the Pima County Democratic Party rescinded their support of Kubitskey. Alma and Consuelo had the opportunity to not only stand with their party in rebuking such heinous crimes but also to stand with the victim. Acknowledge her pain and story, but instead... They decided to play politics, to coordinate their message, attack his opponent, and contribute to the hate coming from Kubitskey's camp. Alma and Consuelo know they did wrong because today they thought nobody would notice that they deleted their comments of support. But don't you worry we have the receipts on your terrible mistake. We don't believe that politicians who practice poor judgment deserve our vote, we don't support politicians who are more worried about political expediency than they are with the victims. What they deserve is to lose. So on election day, we urge the voters to deny the Hernandez's another term!

AFC dedicates its existence to working with Republican governors, and state legislators to gut funding and undermine our public schools. They are pro voucher and anti public schools. Then they come around and blame our public school teachers and our crumbling schools for failing students. AFC is backed by a network of Dark Money and right wing donors that seek to privatize our public schools.
