On Sept. 8, 2026, the Arizona Department of Public Safety’s Employee Wellness Unit hosted a statewide training that brought together first responders to discuss Wellness and Peer Support. 👥 🤝

AZDPS welcomed instructors from First Responder Wellness (FRW/FR Health) to lead the course “Peer Support as an Act of Leadership.” The Department remains committed to supporting the health and well-being of our employees and assisting partner agencies as they strengthen their peer-support programs. AZDPS is grateful to FRW for providing the experienced instructors who made this training possible.

Want a career where every shift helps keep Arizona safe? AZDPS is looking for motivated professionals to join our Traffic Operations Center team in Phoenix.

💼 In this role, you will:

▪ Monitor statewide ADOT cameras and share real-time updates with troopers & field units
▪ Coordinate emergency services, tow responses, and incident management
▪ Support major incidents using our CAD system
▪ Help reduce roadway hazards and prevent secondary collisions

📌 Requirements: 3 years of law enforcement experience as an AZ POST-certified peace officer or a police communications dispatcher

💵 $25.91–$34.86/hr
