We love when groups come together to help those in need! ❤️
We had the pleasure of welcoming some wonderful social workers from UnitedHealthcare, who came together to prepare and pack lunch bags for us to distribute to our unhoused friends during street outreach.
UnitedHealthcare believes in outreach and giving back to the community, and we are so grateful they chose to spend their time serving others. A special thank-you to Fritz, who headed this event, and to her church, First Institutional Baptist Church (FIBCO), under the leadership of Pastor Robert “Ty” Jones. FIBCO generously donated supplies, along with Pastor Shelly from Bethel Christian Assembly.
Together, they provided the bread, apples, peanut butter and jelly, doughnuts, and cheese trays that went into these lunch bags. What a blessing they were to us so that we could be a blessing to our unhoused friends! 🙏❤️
Because of their generosity, we were able to provide lunch snacks to over 200 of our friends last Friday and throughout the weekend.
The sincere appreciation, smiles, and countless “God bless you” messages went directly to all of the wonderful people who gave their time, resources, and hearts to provide such an important necessity.
Thank you to every person, church, and organization who helped make this possible. Your kindness makes a difference, and we are truly grateful.
May God bless each and every one of you for blessing others. ❤️🙏
