We had a great Golf Tournament last weekend and wanted to thank all of our golfers, sponsors, and volunteers for helping make the 34th Annual Skeeter McFee Memorial Golf Tournament a successful event. We raised over $5,000 for various charities that the Rotary Club supports! Thanks again!

Our latest speaker was Max McQueen from Lura Turner Homes. They serve developmentally disabled adults in Phoenix and shared an exciting project about the partnership with Habitat to build two new homes.

We were happy to donate school supplies to Educarte in Puerto Pensco, Mexico this week. Rotarian Lee drove a truckload down - kids will be very happy as the start school next week. Come join us for more service projects like this.

Another Service Project is on the way from the Scottsdale-PV Rotary Club! We have purchased school supplies for kids in the After-School program in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. Each kid needs about $10 to purchase eight different supplies needed for school - we have purchased these in the US and will be personally delivering these at the end of August. This $10 is about three days' wages for many poor parents in Mexico, so it really helps families keep their kids in school. We are proud to present the 34th Skeeter McFee Golf Tournament sponsored by the Scottsdale-PV Rotary Club on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at StoneCreek Golf Course. Tee-off is at 7:30 AM, and registration begins at 6:30 AM. Foursomes are $600, and hole sponsorships are $250 (Includes a customized hole sign).

The Scottsdale-PV Rotary Club was originally the Squaw Peak Rotary Club, but we have recently changed our name. The Scottsdale-PV Rotary Club is a service club with various charity projects in our local community, Arizona, and around the globe. Lura Turner Homes is holding its own golf tournament on Friday, September 23, at Stonecreek Golf Course - they may need some of us to support the running of it. Scottsdale PV Rotary has been a consistent supporter of this worthwhile charity in our local community.
