Paradies Lagardère, one of the original members of the Green Business Partner Program has recertified 14 stores in the program's gold tier! Since its last recertification, the company has added three new stores, including Arizona Road Trip, PGA Tour Fan Shop, and Camelback Provisions. Paradies Lagardère has a “Treat our Troops” program, which allows travelers to buy and donate food items to the USO for military members. Additionally, they participate in community cleanups around the airport. ✈️💚

An airline agent went the extra mile for a customer and lifted her spirits.
The customer was flying internationally late at night, and needed help redistributing her luggage after spending several weeks in the United Stats visiting family.
Christine B., an agent with British Airways, was incredibly warm, friendly and personable, and made the ticketing check-in process as painless as possible.
“After three weeks visiting family in the States, I had just said some difficult goodbyes and was feeling very emotional and deflated, but Christine’s warmth and kindness at check in completely turned my mood around,” said the passenger. “She never rushed me and encouraged me to take my time since there was no queue, which I appreciated more than I can say.”

We had a blast at Bring Your Child to Work Day at America's Friendliest Airport® today! We wanted to hear from the kids themselves, so we asked them: What does your parent do for work at the airport? Their answers were a great highlight to the day!

The day was filled with fun activities like demonstrations from different divisions, firetrucks, Amelia the Airplane, an airfield tour, and a PHX-OPOLY game! Kids and their parents rode the PHX Sky Train® to collect stamps at various locations across the airport!✈️

With double the number of legs as humans, our PHX Navigator Buddies may have an advantage on the soccer pitch, and they also look very cute in the uniform of their favorite team! Throughout the upcoming major international soccer tournament, our Guest & Employee Experience team is inviting the Navigators to let their Navigator Buddies show off their favorite soccer flair. This week, three Buddies (Doggie Director Finn, Mr. Darcy & Tatanka) proudly represented in Terminal 4. Passengers (soccer fans and non-fans alike!) were excited to see the dogs ready to score goals. The Buddies had a lot of photos taken and got to spend some good workout time in baggage claim with their adoring fans! 🐶✈️⚽️

The public comment period on the draft environmental assessment for the Phoenix Area FAA Modernization Project ends June 30, 2026. This project is led by the FAA and proposes new and updated satellite based flight procedures to enhance safety and improve the efficiency of airspace serving Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and surrounding airports. Some guests got lost looking for the Rental Car Center return until an airport employee helped lead the way.
The guests had no access to GPS, so they got lost shortly after leaving the airport proper. They finally found Jennifer B., an Aviation Department supervisor, who was very helpful. She understood their confusion and called for help to guide them to the rental car parking garage.
“I cannot sing her praises enough,” said the customer. “It was only thanks to Jennifer, and the gentleman who guided us that we didn't stop the car and sit in it screaming and crying.”

The Taxiway U project under construction will connect the north and south airfields on the west side of the airport and improve airfield safety and operations. Drivers are advised to slow down in construction areas, watch for signs and allow extra time for travel.

A vendor employee responsible for helping passengers get through security stepped in to assist when one had a medical emergency.
The passenger was riding an escalator up in Terminal 3 when he fell backwards. Luckily for him, CLEAR employee Michael P. jumped into action, and alerted people he was stopping the escalator. He then redirected passengers to the elevators.
“He reacted so quickly and appropriately, I wanted to highlight this event and the good action and effort he displayed,” said the customer who nominated him for recognition.
“I’m hoping you can recognize him in some way for being a good human and helping those folks stuck in a precarious, helpless, and dangerous position.”

In May 2024, Air France launched service from Phoenix to Paris. This was the first time Phoenix has had nonstop service to France. This month, Air France’s flights go to five days a week before going to seven days a week in June. Have you been to France and what has been your favorite thing to see?

The June job fair is right around the corner! Happening on Tuesday, June 2, the monthly Job Fair offers many open airport positions across a variety of companies. The job fair will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 44th Street PHX Sky Train® station, located on 44th and Washington streets. No preregistration is required, and there is parking available at the station, or easily access the station via Valley Metro Rail.
