6 FEMA US&R Type 3 Teams continue to support Kentucky, Tennessee and Arkansas following record flooding throughout the Mississippi and Ohio Valleys. Yesterday Nebraska Task Force One conducted rescues involving motorist whose vehicles were swept off flooded roadways. All the individuals involved were thankfully uninjured. This is a solid reminder to never drive through floodwaters. Roads may be washed out or deeper than they appear. Stay safe and find an alternate route!

After 16 days of hard work, our deployed AZ-TF1 members received demobilization orders today. In addition to responding to Tropical Cyclone Milton in the Tampa Bay area, our team was previously deployed to assist with Tropical Cyclone Helene in North Carolina. With our deployment nearing its end, AZ-TF1 is now beginning the journey back to Phoenix.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us from afar, sent comments, wished us well, and gave us encouragement. Your support means everything!
