Fresh Start is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical professional to join the team and help ensure grant commitments translate into measurable impact.

As a Grant Fulfillment Analyst, you’ll support grant compliance, data analysis, performance tracking, and reporting across a growing portfolio of grants, helping strengthen accountability and advance our mission to empower Arizona’s women to achieve self-sufficiency.

What you’ll do:
🤝 Collaborate with program teams and organizational leadership to support grant requirements and ensure accurate reporting
📈 Analyze grant performance data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insights
📊 Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and tracking systems to monitor grant goals, outcomes, and deliverables
🔍 Monitor grant compliance, reporting deadlines, and performance milestones while proactively identifying potential risks

Fresh Start is pleased to welcome Christine Sullivan as Chief Financial Officer while celebrating Lata Quinn's retirement following years of dedicated service.

Christine brings extensive financial leadership experience, including roles at HonorHealth Foundation and Valley of the Sun United Way. Her background in mission-driven work and commitment to strengthening communities align with Fresh Start’s mission to empower Arizona women to achieve self-sufficiency.

Emoni* was building a career in finance when health challenges forced her to step away from work. After an 18-month job search, she found renewed purpose in a teaching role, but when her contract ended, she was once again unemployed.

“That year was just passing me by and I felt like I was in the same spot...I was really sad and depressed, and I had given up on everything,” Emoni shares.

Her next chapter began somewhat unexpectedly. While scrolling through her inbox one night, an email from Fresh Start caught her eye. She had attended a Fresh Start career fair a couple of years earlier, which connected her to the organization. She learned about the Women in Finance program and decided to apply.

“It aligned perfectly with what I needed: a fresh start," says Emoni. "I thought nothing else was working, so let’s apply to this.”

Through the seven-week program, Emoni found the structure, encouragement, and community she needed to rebuild her confidence.

“Being in the classroom and surrounded by all the different women, and hearing their stories, it really put things into perspective that I wasn’t alone; I wasn’t the only one going through this,” Emoni shares. “My classmates have all been so kind, loving, and supportive. I wanted to show up for them, too.”

Before graduating, Emoni began interviewing with JPMorgan Chase. Shortly after completing the program, she was hired as a full-time Virtual Banker, combining her love for finance and community.

In July 2026, Emoni returned to Fresh Start as a guest speaker for Women in Finance participants, sharing how the program helped her rebuild her confidence and launch her career. 💙

“Before I came to Fresh Start, I was at my absolute rock bottom....Now, I see life differently in every aspect. I feel more confident in myself, not just career-wise, but personally."

Emoni hopes other women remember it’s never too late to begin again.

“I hope they know that life doesn’t have to look a certain way by a certain age…you can start over as many times as you want. You have to be willing to change, do the work, be dedicated, and love yourself."

Today, Emoni is thriving, a powerful example of what's possible with Fresh Start support.

Serving over 80 women through this signature event, attendees connected with volunteer attorneys, legal professionals, and financial planning professionals for one-on-one consultations across 14 areas of law and planning, including family law, employment, tax law, and more!
